10:20 UPDATE: Zidane transfer claim
Zinedine Zidane has revealed Real Madrid will be making changes this summer, but he has not decided what they will be yet.
“We will have changes [in the summer], but I cannot say anything more,” Zidane said.
“I will not be here each 10 games thinking if someone played well they will stay, he played badly he must go.”
Zidane guided Madrid to a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo in his first game back in charge yesterday.

09:45 UPDATE: Hazard to Real Madrid update
It’s understandable why Eden Hazard wants to join Real Madrid, former Chelsea winger Clive Walker claims.
“He’s been our talisman, he’s been excellent over the time he’s been at the football club,” Walker told Love Sport Radio.
“He’s a pleasure to watch. He’s an all-round nice guy. It will be a severe loss to Chelsea to lose him if he did go.
“In some respects, being an ex-player, I understand why he would want to go but he seems very happy at Chelsea.”

09:15 UPDATE: David de Gea to Real Madrid back on?
REAL MADRID are set to reignite their interest in David de Gea.
The Manchester United star almost joined the Spanish giants in 2015, however, the deal fell through.
But the Mirror say Real are back in for De Gea following Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu.
Zidane is a long-term admirer of De Gea and the Frenchman has made the United No 1 a top target.

08:35 UPDATE: Arsenal swap deal
Arsenal are desperate to land Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Sun say the Gunners are even willing to include Reiss Nelson or Ainsley Maitland-Niles to cheapen the deal.
Palace are demanding around £40m for the right-back this summer.
Wan-Bissaka, 21, has impressed at Palace this season after breaking through at the end of last year.

07:50 UPDATE: Sessegnon to Tottenham EXCLUSIVE
Tottenham have been boosted in the pursuit of Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon, who is stalling on signing a new contract.
The left winger – who is out of contract at the end of next season – doesn’t want to leave London.
And that is a mega blow to suitors Manchester United.
Tottenham – who haven’t signed a player in the last two transfer windows – could buy Sessegnon this summer and then loan him back to Fulham for next season.
Chairman Daniel Levy is balancing a tight playing budget with the financing of Spurs’ new stadium.
20:10 UPDATE: Real Madrid get Roma boost
Claudio Ranieri has admitted Roma will have to sell players if they do not make the Champions League for next season.
“If Roma go into the Champions League, that is one thing. If they don’t, then quite a few will get a change of scenery. I’ve told the lads since the first day, they have to prove themselves,” the manager said.
“Today we lost against a team that was more humble, more determined, more desperate for points and was paid a lot less.
“I don’t know if there will be a revolution if Roma don’t qualify for the Champions League, but if they don’t get the revenue from that tournament, something will inevitably have to change.”
Real Madrid are said to be interested in signing Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer.

18:45 UPDATE: Martin Dubravka to Juventus
Martin Dubravka’s agent says the Newcastle goalkeeper is being tracked by Juventus.
“I can confirm that Juve are interested in Martin. However, it is not only the Juventus scouts who follow him: there are also other Premier League clubs,” Pavel Zika said.
“We personally think he should stay in England: for this reason we started negotiating the renewal of his contract.
“When he arrived in Newcastle he was a stranger, but he quickly became important to the team and has created a good reputation in English football. Obviously, on the other hand, we note the interests of other clubs.”

16:10 UPDATE: Inter players furious
Inter Milan’s players are furious with manager Luciano Spalletti over the decision to take the captain’s armband off Mauro Icardi.
Icardi has been linked with a move away from Inter – with Real Madrid interested in the striker – and he lost his captaincy when refusing to sign a new contract earlier this year.
“None of us asked Spalletti to take the armband off Icardi,” an unnamed Inter player has told La Repubblica.
“Icardi was irritated by the tone Spalletti was taking in criticising his teammates and asked the Coach to take it down a notch. After all, they were coming off a victory and there was no need to be hysterical.
“The reaction was extremely violent. And when the armband was taken off him, it was like a stain on Mauro, so he repeatedly sent messages to the club pointing out he had a 97.5 per cent record of arriving on time to training, as proof of his professionalism over the years.
“It was to no avail. Spalletti will not be moved. The club, in the race for a Champions League spot, doesn’t have the strength to intervene.”
Icardi has a £100m release clause that will be active for two weeks in the summer transfer window.
Inter want him to sign a new contract that would scrap the clause – but Icardi wants a pay rise in return, something Inter are unwilling to agree to.

15:20 UPDATE: Drogba on Balotelli
Didier Drogba has revealed he was the one who told Mario Balotelli to quit Nice for Marseille.
Balotelli had his contract at Nice torn up in January after enduring a miserable start to the season where he failed to score for the Ligue 1 side.
Now at Marseille, the 28-year-old has scored five times and Drogba says he urged the Italian to head to the French giants.
“I am very happy for Balotelli, especially because we talked about it for a while before he went there,” Drogba said.
“I told him: ‘You have this opportunity, so take it, because it’s a club that will be good for you.’ And now Mario is really doing well. He’s started scoring again and I am happy.”

14:15 UPDATE: Bale’s agent speaks out
Gareth Bale will decide his Real Madrid future at the end of the season, his agent Jonathan Barnett claims.
When asked if Bale will be at Real next season, he said: “Yeah, why not. He wants to play the rest of his career with Real Madrid.
“If that doesn’t work out, then we’ll talk again. At the moment he’s very happy. He’ll talk with Mr Zidane and take it from there. We’ll see at the end of the season.
“He (Bale) wanted to play one way and Zidane wanted him to play another way. I think that was the cause of it. Over the period of time it just got worse.
“I think if you let Gareth play the way he wants to play and give him a run of games in a row, he can be right up there with anyone. He’s still got a great talent.”
13:30 UPDATE: Aguero to quit Man City?
Sergio Aguero would quit Man City to rejoin Argentinean outfit Independiente, his father claims.
“Nobody called Sergio, or us,” Aguero’s father Leonel Del Castillo told Villa Trinidad Radio.
“The club didn’t get in touch with us. Sergio can not say ‘I want to go back’. You have to see if the club wants it as well.
“With (Independiente’s chairman Hugo) Moyano everything is okay.
“If somebody calls him, I believe that he’s going to be able to set a date to return.”

13:05 UPDATE: Solskjaer talks Bale deal
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to reveal whether Manchester United will move for Gareth Bale.
“I can’t really comment on Gareth Bale or specific names because they’re property of other clubs,” he said.
“But we should look for quality players, definitely, and players who could improve us as a team.”
Bale could leave Real Madrid this summer following the return of Zinedine Zidane.

12:30 UPDATE: Coutinho hint
Philippe Coutinho has dropped a hint that he could leave Barcelona in the summer.
He said: ”In the last few weeks, months even, I’ve not been playing well. But I still want to improve.
“I came to Barcelona to give my best. I live for the moment.
“You never know what the future holds. I am happy with my performance [against Lyon].”

12:00 UPDATE: Sterling to Real Madrid on
Real Madrid have turned their attention to Raheem Sterling as they prepare for a massive summer spending spree.
Manchester City star Sterling only signed a new contract at the Etihad in November.
But reports claim Real Madrid fancy their chances of snapping up the England star.
According to the Mirror, Real have set their eyes on Sterling as part of a projected £300million splurge this summer.

11:40 UPDATE: Gareth Bale to Chelsea backed
Gareth Bale could join Chelsea, with Eden Hazard heading to Real Madrid in a swap deal, Guillem Balague claims.
“So, to get the best out of Bale, Zidane is going to have to put an arm around his shoulder. But the first option will be to try and sell him,” said Balague.
“But it won’t be easy because he earns about 12million euros net and Real Madrid will probably want around 75million euros to sell.
“He’s going to be 30 in July, so Manchester United may think twice about putting that kind of money in the direction of Real Madrid and Bale.
“If Chelsea had the possibility of signing Bale it would be a swap with [Eden] Hazard and I expect all that to appear in the equation. But I feel Bale doesn’t want to leave. Bale would like to stay at Real Madrid.”

11:10 UPDATE: Antonio Valencia to join Arsenal?
Antonio Valencia will leave Manchester United this summer – and Arsenal are an option for the defender, his father claims.
His father Luis told El Universal: “He definitely will not continue in Manchester.
“He wants a change in the air and the club is not going to renew [his contract] either. Like everything in life, everything comes to an end.
“Arsenal, West Ham, Inter Milan and one club from China are options, but in football everything is changing.
“He wants to choose the best option, but above all he wants to sign a contract for two years.
“Not for the money but for peace and hopefully, he told me, be hired by a team that fights for important things.”

10:40 UPDATE: Klopp on Liverpool spending
Jurgen Klopp insists Liverpool do not need to spend big this summer.
“I don’t want to talk exactly what we will do, but I don’t think this is a team at the moment where we have to spend the big money or whatever,” he said.
“The best way to do it is bring together a group of players, try to develop them altogether and then stay together for a while.
“That was maybe the main problem of Liverpool for the last decade. When they had a good team after a season they went all over the world. That will not happen this year for sure.”
