Hazard played a starring role with both goals as Chelsea beat West Ham 2-0 on Monday night but his long-term future continues to be the subject of intense speculation.
With the Belgian star’s contract expiring at the end of next season, Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and Monday’s incredible performance did little to dampen the rumours.
However, Hazard appeared to offer supporters a glimmer of hope as he heaped praise on manager Sarri for the way he has changed their style since he joined in the summer.
Before they recorded three Premier League wins on the bounce, Sarri was under pressure and it was suggested he might be sacked in the summer.
However, Chelsea are now third in the table and on course to reach the Europa League final.
And Hazard says he has been delighted with his boss since he came in to replace Antonio Conte last August.
“He is a fantastic manager,” Hazard said. “After Conte was not easy, He came here with his own idea of how to play football and I think we did quite well. It’s not simple, the football he wants to play.
“But I think now we start to understand how he wants to play.
“We need still to adapt a little bit but we reached the Carabao Cup final, we can still finish top four and win a European cup.
“I think the season is good. Now we just need to see at the end of the season what we can have. Then if it’s a good or not season or not depends on a trophy.
“This manager is different than Conte or [Jose] Mourinho.
“It’s not easy to change everything. But I think we have shown we adapt well with this manager and now we have to finish the season well.”
Hazard has scored 16 Premier League goals this season and has been directly involved in more than any other player in terms of goals and assists combined .
“By stats it’s my best season and also I like to say that because the way he thinks of football is the way I think of football,” he added. It’s easy to understand each other.
“Okay sometimes we lost but at the end, the way he wants us to play is the way I want Chelsea to play.
“That’s why we have a good relationship.”
