Pogba finally returned from his summer holidays this morning and arrived at the Carrington training HQ in the back of a Mercedes.

And now he’s been seen wearing his Manchester United club suit at the airport as he prepares to head for Australia for the club’s pre-season tour.

There were fears Pogba would not join the squad in Australia as talk of a transfer to Real Madrid or Juventus ramps up.

Pogba himself has admitted he would like to move on, while his agent confirmed last week that they are working on a transfer.

Pogba though did finally arrive in Manchester today after spending the last week in New York and is now heading across the world with his team-mates.

United are heading to Australia for the first leg of their pre-season trip and face Perth Glory and Leeds.

Pogba, as well as Romelu Lukaku, were confirmed in United’s travelling squad earlier today.

But there was no place for Fred, Matteo Darmian or Dean Henderson and all could be heading out of the club.

It has been reported that Fred and Darmian will join the squad at a later date but both were pictured at Carrington earlier today to report for training.

Henderson meanwhile is expected to return to Sheffield United on loan this season.

Pogba’s future though remainc the topic of conversation after Mino Raiola told the Times that the club knew he wanted to move on.

Raiola said: “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”

He added: “Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”

Speaking last month Pogba also said: “For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.

“I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

United have been linked with several potential replacements for Pogba including Bruno Fernandes, Radja Nainggolan, and Saul Niguez.

But a deal for Sean Longstaff appears the most likely to be the next one completed after deals for Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were done earlier in the transfer window.
