Syria’s war: UNICEF alarmed by child deaths in gov’t offensive

The United Nations is concerned about the growing number of children being killed in the war on rebel-held areas of Syria.

Idlib and Hama provinces are being bombarded for a third month by Syrian government forces, backed by Russian warplanes.

Human rights groups say at least 500 civilians have been killed, including children.
