Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring just before half time with a fine strike.
However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised in the second half for Arsenal after an error from Axel Tuanzebe.
The Gunners’ goal was given through VAR after the linesman ruled Aubameyang offside in the build up.
Replays showed Harry Maguire played the Arsenal striker on – and referee Kevin Friend awarded the goal.
United hero Gary Neville hailed Arsenal’s top scorer Aubameyang for his fine chip over David De Gea.
“He’s done well in this game, Tuanzebe, but he just gives the ball away and then Harry Maguire, through no fault of his own [plays him onside], he’s stuck in a position where he’s isolated,” he said on Sky Sports.
“Then you’re just talking about Aubameyang vs De Gea and it’s just a brilliant finish from the striker, it really is.”
