Arsenal manager Unai Emery has come under criticism this season for the manner of the Gunners’ recent performances.
And while a win over Crystal Palace today would move Arsenal within two points of the top-four places, many fans just aren’t happy with the Spaniard’s tactics and team selection.
However, Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is adamant the current squad are backing their manager.
“This team has evolved a lot since the beginning of last season,” Bellerin said.
“When the board sign a manager like Unai, they know it’s all part of a process.
“He has his own ideas – and he’s done so well at Sevilla, Valencia and Paris that everyone trusts in the manager.”
A lot of the criticism is directed over a perceived lack of improvement in the team, since the 47-year-old replaced Arsene Wenger in 2018.
Emery has won trophies at his previous two clubs, with three Europa League titles at Sevilla, followed up with a successful tenure while at Paris Saint-Germain.
