Caroline Flack has been charged with assault by beating after reports of a man being attacked, the Metropolitan Police say.
The TV presenter was arrested following an incident at approximately 5.25am on 12 December.
The man was not seriously injured.
Flack’s representatives confirmed that officers came to her home following “a private domestic incident”.
They say she is now “co-operating with the appropriate people to resolve matters”.
A statement from police said Flack “will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday 23 December.”
Flack, who recently celebrated her 40th birthday, has been dating tennis player and model Lewis Burton, 27, since the summer.
She previously dated Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady, with the couple getting engaged after just a few months, but they split up shortly after.
She also famously dated Harry Styles back in 2011.
Flack got her first TV presenting break fronting the International Pepsi Chart Show, before moving on to Channel 4’s E4 Music.
She later moved on to Big Brother’s Little Brother and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and X Factor, before winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
In 2015 she began presenting Love Island, and has fronted the show through five series, with a brand new winter version due to start in January.
Contestants will be based in Cape Town, South Africa, instead of the summer show’s Majorca villa.
Flack has been teasing the show on social media, posting images of a plane reflected in sunglasses and the caption “Who’s ready?”, as well as a short video showing a pool party in full swing and the caption “Sorry winter”.
