“We keep another clean sheet, four on the bounce now, we’re getting better defensively,” he told Sky Sports.
“Two very good goals, very happy with them. I think we were a bit leggy, sometimes it takes time to blow the cobwebs out, but it was better second half, we looked a bit cumbersome first half.
“Some good individual performances at times, but in the first half we were too negative, played it back too many times and made technical errors we don’t normally.
“It gives us confidence and a chance [of finishing in the top four], it’s going to be a tight race, we’re not going to get any help from anyone – we’re playing tonight and we’re playing on Thursday.”
