Second soldier dies after tank incident at Castlemartin, Pembrokeshire

A second soldier has died following after an incident involving a tank at a Ministry of Defence base in Pembrokeshire.

The Royal Tank Regiment soldiers died on Thursday after being injured at Castlemartin Range on Wednesday.

Minister for People and Veterans, Tobias Ellwood, confirmed the death.

Two other soldiers were taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident, which BBC Wales understands involved ammunition.
