The robots attending arts class

Latest news

Artist Patrick Tresset is using robots to draw and create art. The robot classroom is part of his latest exhibition in London called Machine Studies.

The 20 robots involved consist of a camera and a robot arm holding a pen. They are controlled by laptops hidden inside the school desks.

The robots chat to each other in a language inspired by Morse Code and their activities are partly inspired by Mr Tresset’s own schooldays in France.
