Patricio, 30, signs a four-year deal at Molineux
Wolves have completed the signing of Portugal keeper Rui Patricio on a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon.
Patricio, 30, has agreed a four-year deal with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, who will play in the Premier League in the 2018/19 season.
Patricio is currently on World Cup duty with Portugal
The Black Country club confirmed their delight at the news on their Twitter page: “Wolves are delighted to confirm Portugal and Sporting Lisbon number one Rui Patricio has joined the club on a four-year deal #BemVindoRui.”
Patricio has won 70 caps for his country, as well as a winners medal at Euro 2016 where he kept a clean sheet in the final against host nation France.
Patricio came through Sporting’s youth system before making his debut in 2006.
He leaves Sporting having made 460 appearances, making him second on the Primeira Liga club’s all-time list.
Patricio becomes Nuno Espirito Santo’s second summer capture following the signing of Mexico forward Raul Jimenez.
